Samsung Galaxy Note 3 leaked pictures

The Galaxy Note 3 will be authoritatively uncovered on September 4 throughout an exceptional Samsung media occasion planned to occur in Berlin, Germany, a couple of days in front of the IFA 2013 show. As you want, the web is loaded with Galaxy Note 3 bits of gossip and drips, with additional reports seeming day after day – even Samsung has said the item’s name a couple of times on certain pages of its site. With less than three weeks to go, we’re set to let you know what we contemplate the gadget dependent upon these unsubstantiated reports blended with knowledgeable conjectures on the matter.

While bits of hearsay about an upcoming unit aren’t dependably on the same page, we’ll perceive that in the previous not many months there were some exceptionally clashing bits of hearsay out there with respect to certain outline perspectives incorporating screen measure, and the sort of materials that will be utilized to manufacture the handset. That said, here’s what we can want from Samsung’s upcoming leader added extensive cell phone.

The Galaxy Note 3 is required to be to a degree comparable to its antecedent, the Galaxy Note 2. A few reports claim that the handset will have precisely the same measure as its antecedent, however the presentation will be expanded from 5.5-inch to 5.7-inch. In light of what we’ve see from Samsung lately, we want the Galaxy Note 3 to be thin and all screen (thin bezels that is). Besides, we want round corners and a Home bind to be discovered on the telephone. A S Pen stylus may as well additionally be discovered inside.

Presentation measure matters

Talking about the showcase measure, we’ll remind you that early Galaxy Note 3 bits of hearsay guaranteed that the telephone will have a 5.99-inch Full HD show. At the same time in the most recent not many months we’ve heard on numerous occasions that the apparatus will accompany a 5.7-inch screen. Sometime or another, we even seen reported confirmation that recommended Samsung was trying three presentation sizes for the handset: 5.5-inch, 5.7-inch and 5.9-inch. The latest reports that have offered a more complete supposed specs sheet prescribe the telephone will accompany a 5.7-inch (truly 5.68-inch to be more exact). Borneo Eco Film Festival

Borneo Eco Film Festival

WWF joins the party at Borneo Eco Film Festival

This year’s Borneo Eco Film Festival 2013 is set to be more exciting with the coming on board of WWF-Malaysia as its official partner in Boleh Bah Filem Kita! The festival, which will be held from Sept 27 to 29, aims to highlight the relationship between local people and Borneo’s natural heritage through the showcasing of environmental films.

The “Boleh Bah Filem Kita!”, which is one of the core events of the festival, is an eco-film competition where local film-makers show how people relate to their environment through a short-film. WWF-Malaysia executive director and chief executive officer Datuk Dr Dionysius Sharma described the partnership as synergistic.”The annual film festival aims to celebrate Borneo’s bio-cultural diversity and WWF-Malaysia has the mission to achieve a future where people live in harmony with nature.

“We are pleased to support this event as their goals are very much in line with ours. The relationship between people and their natural environment has never been so vulnerable,” he said in a statement, yesterday.WWF-Malaysia believes that a better future can be achieved with awareness and education and the BEFF is an exemplary platform for this, he added.

To encourage more participation, WWF-Malaysia will present a special award for the best video theme on the proposed Tun Mustapha Park, the largest marine protected area in Malaysia once it is gazetted. The film must be under 10 minutes, shot in Borneo by people who live in Borneo, and the submission date has been extended from Aug 15 to Aug 31, while admission to the three-day film festival is free.

Besides that, the festival also aims to nurture film-making among local communities through a series of workshops named SUARA Komuniti where the local communities will have the chance to tell their own stories with their own voices. WWF-Malaysia is supporting community members from Semporna Priority Conservation Area and the proposed Tun Mustapha Park to participate and benefit from the film-making workshops. Yee Kiau Mee

Yee Kiau Mee in Melaka

Yee Kiau Mee

Yee Kiau Mee in Melaka

This is one of Melaka’s hidden food secret, Yee Kiau Mee or Yee Kiau Noodles which is actually fish paste and noodles served in either soup or dry style. There are apparently a number of stalls that sell this but only two or three which are very good. These fish paste noodles are also usually found around the main town area. One of the well known Yee Kiau Mee stalls is found at Kampung Lapan in Melaka and only sold in the day. The original dish comes with Fish Balls and Fish Cake and you can choose your type of noodles but there are many other new generation stalls which give you more variety like a Yong Tau Foo selection.

Yee Kiau Mee is best tried in kon low or dry soy sauce styled. However, you can also order it in the soup style. Some stalls serve this with pork lard oil and the pork lard or chee yau char while some even throw in some sliced roasted pork or char siew but you can instruct them to hold all of these when you place your order. Your order usually comes with a bowl of soup and a small plate of cut red chill or the stall’s own homemade chill sauce. Some places will mix the chili sauce into the black sauce mixture if you want it with chili, so best to let them know if you want the chili on the side.

Yee Kiau Mee Melaka

One of the Yee Kiau Mee stalls in Melaka

The funny thing about Yee Kiau Mee is that you can only find the best ones in Melaka. If you go around Malaysia, you will never see any stall selling this dish. What comes close to this is Fish Ball Noodles or Kampar Noodles but the comparison is too far apart. So for the true foodie or food lover, you need to go to Melaka to try this dish. This article is also in conjunction with my Visit Malaysia Year 2014 Food Special. So next time you are visiting Melaka, ask some of the locals where you can find some good Yee Kiau Mee.

Crystal Lotus Restaurant Hong Kong Disneyland

Crystal Lotus Restaurant Hong Kong Disneyland

During a recent trip to the Hong Kong Disneyland, I was invited to try out the Crystal Lotus Restaurant at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel which is located in the park area. Serving authentic Chinese cuisines, a 7-course Chinese meal was prepared for me and my partner where we had no expectations on to what was coming our way. I mean, this is Disneyland therefore our expectations were decently average but when the food started coming our way, all we could say was wow.

Totally out of our expectations, the effort, preparations, taste and overall experience was simply amazing. I had never had such detailed Chinese cuisine in my entire life like I did here. After coming from a multi-racial country like Malaysia, I had my fair share of Chinese cuisines around the country but here in Hong Kong Disneyland, this restaurant took a new twist to Chinese food. Course by course the element of surprise got better only to be doubly surprised by how the chefs here use various methods of incorporating the Disney character of Mickey Mouse in some of the dishes.

The bar at Crystal Lotus Restaurant

Our verdict was simple, if you are a Chinese food lover and want to try something unique when visiting Disneyland Hong Kong, you should make a reservation at the Crystal Lotus Restaurant which is located at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. No regrets as in taste wise, it supersedes your expectations. You can order À la carte or even by course meals here. The ambiance of the restaurant is also something to look at due to the mix designs of modern contemporary with a Chinese. In total, there are 2238 lotuses that decorate the entire restaurant. Look our for the amazing lotus chandelier that hangs in the back dining area. A beautifully designed bar is also available for those wanting some cocktails or other drinks.

Below are some photos which I took during the 7-course Chinese dinner there. Click on the pictures to see the full size.

If you have a family and want an experience to remember, I recommend you stay at any of the Disneyland Hotels in Hong Kong.
